This installation explores how young adults experienced the COVID-19 pandemic. Many felt lonely, lacked structure, and longed for greater freedom. The social interaction and physical contact they needed were often restricted by the measures in place.
The absence of these connections left invisible wounds that were not always seen or understood by others, particularly by older generations. Through collaboration with the target group, the installation makes these experiences tangible and visible. In doing so, it creates space for a greater understanding of the impact this period had on young adults.
